CREATIVE Design
When working on the identity design for Landreth Repairs, there were numerous approaches. The first concept though, in many identity creations, usually is the best. In Jeremy’s line of work, a patch is the answer to tears or rips on fabric and it just made sense to tie the patch into  the imagery of his identity.
IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT
Before determining a final design, Jeremy was able to choose between the other concepts presented initially, shown here. The tools he uses in furniture repair were also elements used in designs for round one of the creative process.Â
Each identity design offered a different feel for the customer and Jeremy ended up choosing artwork that not only looked like a patch, but a design that would be developed into an actual patch on hats… promoting Landreth Repairs!

IDENTITY APPLICATION
Jeremy placed a local ad on a tabletop at a restaurant in Lexington. It has similar elements of his business card, also shown, plus an eye-catching image. He chose a simple graphic so the customer could rest their eye on his advertisement, versus viewing the others.
One of the best ways to get the word out about your business and what you do, is to wear your graphics! Especially if you’re in a small town and people share referrals. Hats are also a great way to promote or be in uniform so you are recognized when you arrive to a customer’s home to perform a service.
